Our next season at The Venue will start on 13 September 2024 and comprise 14 films shown fortnightly, with a four-week break around Christmas and the New Year. The first seven films have already been selected, the second seven will be chosen and announced during November to ensure that we continue to bring you as many recent releases as possible.
The price for the 14-film season will be £36 per head, with no concessions.
In the past we have also made day memberships available on screenings night but these are no longer available, so the only way to attend will be to sign up for a full membership. Details of how to join can, as usual, be found on our website, here.
The dates and films for the first half of the season are as follows:
13 September – Monster (Japan 2023)
27 September – That They May Face The Rising Sun (UK/Ireland 2023)
11 October – Io Capitano (Italy/Belgium/France 2023)
25 October – Ama Gloria (France 2023)
8 November – La Chimera (Italy 2023)
22 November – Perfect Days (Japan 2023)
6 December – L’Innocent (France 2022)
All screenings will start at 7.30pm
The dates for the second half of the season will be: 10 & 24 January; 7 & 21 February; 7 & 21 March; 4 April.
The window to apply for membership will open on Monday 1 July and close at mid-day on Friday 13 September.
